Teacher's Matter
What's even more important is that a bad teacher's affect more than just a student while they are in school. Funding needs to be increased for schools but is the money being used wisely. According to these maps of the different states, it is not being used widely. What are the school boards doing? While are teacher's unions so powerful when our children and economy is suffering?
Why are districts that spend the most per child, graduating so few, and then why are those children unable to finish college? Then factor in the fact that unemployment is highest in those exact areas!
